Turkey Wildin' Out: Cops Tear Gas May Day, Lockin' Folks Up
Istanbul streets ain't safe for the workers, man. Police pull up and start trippin' over May Day protests.

Istanbul, Turkey - Aight, so check it. Turkey just went full-on oppress mode on folks celebratin' May Day. Cops out here tear-gassin' everybody in Taksim Square, lockin' up hundreds. Straight up disrespect, man. This ain't no freedom rally, it's a shutdown.
Taksim Square ain't nothin' but a headache for the government. They claimin' it's 'bout security, but we all know what it really is: keepin' the people down. Back in '77, they had folks gettin' murked right there. Now they act like tear gas is the answer? Come on, son.
They sayin' it's an 'unpermitted' rally, like these folks need a permission slip to fight for they rights. Workers out here strugglin', tryin' to make a livin', and the government treatin' 'em like criminals. It's a whole lotta BS.
International folks gonna be talkin' 'bout 'human rights violations' and all that, but what about the human rights violations right here on the block? Cops always on some power trip, ain't nothin' new. They ain't protectin' and servin', they harassin' and controllin'.
This ain't just 'bout some protest, it's 'bout the whole system. They don't want workers to unite, to stand up for theyselves. They want everybody divided and conquered, workin' for pennies while the rich get richer. It's the same old game, different country.
Real talk, solidarity is the only way we gonna change things. We gotta support the workers in Turkey, let 'em know they ain't alone. The struggle is real, worldwide. It's time to wake up and fight back.
This government showin' they true colors, oppressing the people and protecting the corporations. It's a global thing. They treat workers like they disposable. It's all about that bread, and they don't wanna share.
Until next time, stay woke, stay strong, and keep fightin' the power. This ain't over. We gotta keep the pressure on and demand justice for the workers in Turkey, and everywhere else. No justice, no peace. Fo'real.
