Trump's 'Liberation Day' Tariffs: A Year Later, Still Hustlin' Backwards?
Real talk: Did Trump's tariffs really help the block, or just make rich folks richer?

Aight, so a year done passed since Trump dropped them 'Liberation Day' tariffs. He said it was gonna fix the trade and bring jobs back to the hood. But did it really? Nah, fam, the streets ain't feelin' too liberated.
Trump said these tariffs were gonna stop us from dependin' on other countries and put America first. But all I see is prices goin' up at the corner store and folks still struggling to make ends meet. It's like, we out here hustlin' backwards, tryna survive while these politicians play games with the economy.
This dude Stephen Moore, a Trump homie, be sayin' the tariffs didn't cause inflation 'cause of tax cuts and all that. But who really benefits from them tax cuts? Not the folks grindin' every day just to pay rent and keep the lights on. It's the rich gettin' richer, while the rest of us get left behind.
Then you got cats like Larry Summers callin' the tariffs 'masochistic' and sayin' they cost $30 trillion. That's a whole lotta bread! And Paul Krugman callin' Trump 'crazy.' Maybe he is, maybe he ain't, but one thing's for sure: these tariffs ain't doin' nothin' for the community.
And this lady Christine Lagarde from Europe be trippin', sayin' the tariffs gonna mess up the whole world economy. But what about our economy, tho? What about the people who been struggling for generations? We need solutions that uplift the block, not policies that keep us down.
At the end of the day, these 'Liberation Day' tariffs feel like just another way for the system to keep us oppressed. We need real change, real opportunities, and real investments in our communities. Stop playin' games with the economy and start puttin' the people first. For real.
The tariffs are no good for the hood.
The prices are going up on everything.
The rich are getting richer.
