Trump's 'Ecocide' is Just Another Day in the Struggle: Same Game, Different Players
They wanna sanction Trump for messin' up the environment? Man, that's the same game they playin' on us for generations, ain't nothin' new under the sun.

Aight, check it. They talkin' 'bout sanctionin' Trump and his rich buddies 'cause of the environment? Nah, man, this ain't nothin' but the same ol' song and dance. They done been killin' our communities with pollution for decades, and now they wanna act like it's a surprise when the whole planet's feelin' it.
They hit them Russian oligarchs for backin' Putin, right? Now they tryna say Trump's crew is doin' the same thing with this 'ecocide' business. But let's keep it 100, they ain't really care 'bout the environment. They care 'bout power and money, and they use any excuse to keep it.
Trump tearin' down regulations, openin' up drilling? That's just speedin' up the process. They been doin' this since day one. Buildin' factories in our neighborhoods, dumpin' waste in our rivers, actin' like we ain't even human. Now they wanna act shocked when the planet starts heatin' up?
This chick from the Congo talkin' 'bout "ecocide being a crime against humanity." She ain't lyin', but where was she when they was poisonin' Flint? Where was she when they was buildin' pipelines through Native land? This ain't just a Trump thing, this is a systemic thing.
They let Lee Zeldin, that clown runnin' the EPA, go around talkin' 'bout protectin' the environment? That's like puttin' the fox in charge of the hen house. He's just a puppet for the big corporations, doin' whatever they tell him to do. And meanwhile, they chillin' out on yachts and skiin' in the Alps.
The destruction of millions of acres of US east coast forests through logging and a million acres of what is known as the American Serengeti in Alaska for drilling is business as usual, ain't nothin' changed. A seabed mining rampage across millions of miles of underwater ecosystem (despite the global moratorium imposed by 40 countries); and creating the conditions for the entire Gulf of Mexico to suffer the consequences of a second oil-drilling catastrophe like 2010’s Deepwater Horizon is straight up disrespectful to the environment, and it's just one more symptom of how little they value our lives.
The obliteration of the basic scientific work that underpins most of EPA regulations, and the EPA’s diminishing ability to regulate CO2 emissions mean that they ain't even pretending to care no more. It's all about the money and the power.
So, yeah, sanction Trump if you want. But don't act like this is somethin' new. This is the same game they been playin' for centuries. They just findin' new ways to justify it. It's time to stop playin' their game and start buildin' our own. One where we look out for each other and protect the planet for real. Word.
