Trump Trippin' Over Fed's Crazy Expensive Remodel, Says It's a Rip-Off
After the feds backed off, Trump's callin' out the Federal Reserve for droppin' billions on a building when folks is strugglin'.

Palm Beach, FL - Yo, Trump's on one again, this time goin' after the Federal Reserve for blowin' grip on some renovation. Word is, they spent like $4 billion on fixin' up their HQ, and Trump's out here sayin' he could've done it for $25 million. Straight up, somethin' ain't right.
Before hoppin' on Air Force One, he was talkin' slick to reporters, sayin', "Well, I want to find out. You know, it's not dropped. They're looking into the whole thing about the crisis. What I want, with the IG, what I want to look at is how can a building that I could have done for $25 million cost $4 billion? That's a big thing." Real talk, that's some serious cheese.
Now, peep this: the original budget was already hefty at $2.46 billion. But then they hit snags, like asbestos and the cost of stuff goin' up. But come on, $4 billion? That's enough to build a whole lotta affordable housing in the hood.
And guess who's gettin' the side-eye? Fed Chair Jerome Powell. Trump mentioned him, sayin' he "was in charge." These dudes been beefin' anyway, 'cause Trump's always on Powell's case about lowerin' interest rates. It's a whole power play, for real.
The U.S. Attorney, Jeanine Pirro, pulled back on her investigation and handed it over to the Fed's Inspector General, Michael Horowitz. Some say that's 'cause the DOJ didn't want to get caught up in no political mess.
Senator Thom Tillis from North Carolina even called the DOJ investigation "political interference." These politicians always protectin' each other, know what I'm sayin'? He even blocked Trump's pick to replace Powell. It's a tangled web, man.
Look, at the end of the day, this is about how the government spends our money. While regular folks is out here hustlin' to make ends meet, these cats is throwin' billions at a building. It's a slap in the face to the community.
The question is, where's that money really goin'? Is it just waste, or is somethin' shady goin' down? We need answers, and we need 'em now.
This ain't just about a building, though. It's about priorities. That $4 billion could've gone to schools, job training, or helpin' folks get back on their feet. Instead, it's goin' to line somebody's pockets.
The Inspector General better do his job and find out what's really goin' on. If there's corruption, heads need to roll. Straight up.
We gotta stay woke and pay attention to where our tax dollars is goin'. 'Cause if we don't, they'll keep takin' us for a ride.
It's time to hold these institutions accountable. No more lyin', no more stealin', no more games. The community deserves better, period.
