Trump Trippin' Again, Claimin' He Don't Need Congress for War
This man stay playin' games with our lives, tellin' us he can do whatever he wants overseas, like we ain't gon' pay the price.

Aight, so check it, Trump back at it again, tryna flex his power like he the only one runnin' this whole show. This time he sayin' he ain't gotta ask Congress for permission to keep messin' with Iran. Word is bond, this dude really thinks he's untouchable.
He claimin' past presidents did the same thing, flouted the rules and did what they wanted. He sayin' Congress' power to check him is "totally unconstitutional." Man, this cat think he a king or somethin'.
"So many presidents, as you know, have gone and exceeded it," Trump said. "It's never been used. It's never been adhered to." Straight up disrespectful.
Now, there's this law called the War Powers Resolution from '73. It's supposed to keep the president from just waltzin' into war without Congress sayin' it's cool. But Trump think he above the law, like always.
They sayin' the 60-day clock is tickin' since they started beef with Iran back in February. But Trump tryna play it like the ceasefire pauses the clock. Nah, G, you can't just change the rules when it suits you.
Real talk, some presidents in the past did ask Congress for the green light, like George H.W. Bush for the Gulf War and George W. Bush for Iraq and Afghanistan. But others, like Clinton with Kosovo and Obama with Libya, just did they own thang, consequences be damned.
And who pays the price for all this? Us. Black and brown folks always end up on the front lines, fightin' wars that ain't got nothin' to do with us. While the rich stay rich and the politicians stay politickin'.
This professor from Minnesota, David Schultz, said it best: "Just because other presidents haven't invoked it [the 1973 law] doesn't mean that what Trump is doing here is correct." Facts. Just 'cause everyone else been stealin' don't make it right when you do it.
Trump be talkin' 'bout how the Iran conflict ain't nothin' compared to Vietnam, Iraq, or World War II. But any war is too much war. It's always the same story, same people gettin' played.
At the end of the day, Trump tryna run the world like it's his personal empire. But we gotta remember we got a voice too. We gotta hold these politicians accountable, from the White House to the local streets. Stay woke, y'all. They ain't slicker than us.
