Trump Tell Astronauts He Saved NASA, But Where Dat Money Really Go?
Artemis II astronauts chillin' on the moon, and Trump cappin' 'bout savin' NASA, but folks in the hood ain't seein' no benefits from this space race.

Aight, so Trump hit up the Artemis II crew after they did they thing, flyin' farther than any humans before. He on the phone, tellin' 'em how he saved NASA. Word? But lemme tell you somethin', ain't nobody in my hood feelin' saved by no space program. Real talk.
He talkin' 'bout how he had to make a decision – revive NASA or shut it down. But meanwhile, schools in the hood lookin' like they been shut down for decades. Where the investment at for us? These folks celebrating exploration when people struggle to eat.
He tried to slash NASA's budget, right? Said he wanted to cut it by almost 25%. But Congress said, nah, we need that space money. So, they pass a bill keepin' the cash flowin'. But still, ain't no extra flow for the cribs on lockdown and folks struggling. NASA gettin' billions while we fight for scraps. That ain't right.
Then this cat Jared Isaacman, the NASA administrator, kissin' Trump's boots, sayin' he supports the Prez's money moves. He tellin' NASA workers to stay outta politics. But see, that's the problem! Everything is political when you talking 'bout who gets the bag. We gotta speak up!
Trump braggin' 'bout the Apollo program, sayin' America's back. But was America ever really back for Black folks? We still fightin' for equality, still dealin' with the same old BS. Space exploration cool and all, but what about the problems right here on Earth? Gotta fix this spot first, man.
The Artemis mission might be a W for America, but it ain't a W for everyone. We need to make sure these investments benefit all communities, not just the ones in charge. Stop frontin' for Instagram and start puttin' in the work in the trenches, bruh.
Talkin' 'bout buildin' a permanent lunar base, sendin' humans to Mars. That's cool, but what 'bout buildin' affordable housing here? What 'bout sendin' resources to communities that need 'em? Priorities messed up.
This ain't 'bout hatin' on space exploration, it's 'bout keepin' it real. We gotta ask ourselves: who really benefits from these programs? Is it the big corporations gettin' contracts? Is it the politicians lookin' for a photo op? Or is it the everyday people who are payin' for it with their taxes? We payin the taxes so we deserve the benifits
Don't get me wrong, space is fascinating, but we need to balance that fascination with the need to address real-world problems. Food deserts, lack of healthcare, police brutality – these are the issues that affect our daily lives. Let's make sure we ain't forgetting 'bout them while we star gazin'.
