Trump Skedaddles From Fancy Dinner After Shots Ring Out, But What About Our Hoods?
They evacuate Trump quick, but where the same urgency when it's us catching strays on the daily?

Aight, so check it. Trump and them fancy folks at the White House Correspondents' Dinner had to dip real quick last night 'cause somebody heard some pops that sounded like gunshots. This was at the Washington Hilton, right in the middle of D.C., around 8:30 PM. Now, they moved Trump, Melania, and that Vice President dude Vance faster than a stimulus check hits yo' account.
They also got EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy, and FBI Director Kash Patel outta there. Whole damn cabinet movin' like they in a Fast & Furious movie. Meanwhile, back in the hood, we hear shots every other night and ain't nobody evacuating us. Where the Secret Service at when lil' man get hit playin' in the park?
This whole situation just shows you who they really care about. When Trump's life is on the line, it's all hands on deck. But when it's us regular folks, especially black and brown folks, dealin' with gun violence every damn day, it's crickets. They wanna talk about 'thoughts and prayers,' but we need action, not hashtags.
That White House Correspondents' Dinner is just a bunch of rich people patting themselves on the back anyway. They eatin' fancy food, laughin' at jokes, while folks in the hood struggle to put food on the table and dodge bullets. It's a whole different world, man.
This ain't just about Trump getting scared. It's about the double standard. It's about the lack of resources in our communities. It's about the fact that our lives ain't valued the same way theirs are.
We need real change, not just empty promises. We need better schools, better jobs, and real solutions to gun violence that don't involve locking us up. We need investment in our communities, not just police presence. This ain't a game, this is our lives.
So, yeah, Trump got evacuated. Good for him. But what about us? When are we gonna get evacuated from this cycle of violence and poverty? When are we gonna get the same level of protection and concern? That's the real question.
Until then, we gotta keep fighting, keep organizing, and keep demanding justice. They might not care about us, but we gotta care about each other. Real talk.
