Trump Homies Throw a Pray-Off on the Mall, But Who's Really Hearin' Us?
They talkin' 'bout rededicatin' America, but what about the folks gettin' left behind in the hood?

Aight, so check it. Trump's crew hit the National Mall for this 'Rededicate 250' thing, right? Buncha prayers, gospel music, and folks in suits talkin' 'bout God and America. Sounds cool and all, but lemme keep it 100: ain't nothin' changed in my neighborhood.
Freedom 250 or whatever group put this together, claimin' they tryna "give thanks for God's providence, reflect on our nation's story, and rededicate America as One Nation under God." Word? But what about the folks strugglin' just to put food on the table? What about the schools that still ain't got enough books? What about the cops harassin' us for nothin'?
They got 19 faith leaders speakin', and 18 of 'em Christian. Mostly them evangelical types. You know, the ones who always seem to be judgin' everybody else. One Rabbi showed up. Shout out, but where's the Imam? Where's the representation for the rest of us?
Trump sent a video message 'cause he was golfin'. Figures. He read some scripture, probably hopin' to get some brownie points with the religious folks. Meanwhile, real people need real help, not just empty words.
House Speaker Mike Johnson led a prayer, sayin' rights come from God, not the government. Okay, cool. But tell that to the brother locked up for a dime bag. Tell that to the sister gettin' paid less 'cause she a woman. Tell that to the immigrant family just tryna make a better life.
They had Chris Tomlin singin'. He can blow, but that ain't gonna pay my rent. This whole thing just feels like another way for the powerful to pat themselves on the back while the rest of us keep grindin'.
The Interfaith Alliance tried to shine a light on religious freedom by projectin' messages on the National Gallery of Art. I see you. At least somebody's tryin' to keep it real. But these folks in power just wanna turn America into a Christian nation. And that ain't right.
Rachel Laser from Americans United for Separation of Church and State said it's a "Jubilee of Christian Nationalism." She ain't lyin'. They tryna force their beliefs on everybody else. But we ain't gonna let 'em.
We need real change, not just prayers and speeches. We need jobs, education, healthcare, and justice. We need leaders who actually care about the people, not just the rich and powerful. We need to build a better future for ourselves and our kids, no matter what these politicians say.
So next time they throw one of these fancy prayer meetings, remember who they're really talkin' to. It ain't us. We gotta keep fightin' for what's right. Keep grindin'. Keep believin'. And never forget where you come from.
Stay woke, y'all. And keep it movin'.
Real talk.
