Trump Era DOJ Bringing Back Firing Squads? Nah, They Wildin' Out Here...
The feds tryna bring back old school execution methods? This ain't justice, this just another way they playin' the game, fasho.

Aight, so check it: The Justice Department just dropped some news on Friday that got the whole block talkin'. They sayin' they tryna "strengthen the federal death penalty" by bringin' back firing squads and usin' that same lethal injection they was rockin' back during Trump's first run. Strenghten? More like steppin' back into some dark ages, feel me?
According to the DOJ's press release, they gon' be pullin' out the pentobarbital again for the lethal injections, and addin' firing squads to the mix. Straight up? That sounds like some medieval sh*t. Like they tryin' to send a message, but all it's sayin' is they ain't evolved one bit.
And peep this: They also sayin' they gon' be speedin' up the whole process. Rescinding that Biden-era pause on executions and already lookin' at givin' 44 defendants the death penalty. Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche already comin' for nine of 'em. That's movin' quick, real quick.
Trump signed an order way back when, tellin' the Attorney General to make sure states got enough of that lethal injection juice. Now the DOJ sayin' they just followin' orders and reversin' what Biden did. But let's keep it 100, this ain't about followin' orders, this about power, straight up.
Federal executions been on pause since 2021, when Merrick Garland put a stop to it while they "reviewed" the whole situation. But now, it's back on, and they playin' for keeps. They ain't playin' fair either. They ain't never been. They always been heavy handed with us.
They even talkin' 'bout makin' it harder for folks on death row to appeal or ask for clemency. Like, where's the justice in that? Where's the chance for a brother or sister to prove they innocent, or show they changed? This ain't about justice, this about controllin' folks that they think is a problem.
Now, I know some folks might be thinkin', "These dudes did the crime, they gotta do the time." But let's be real, the system ain't always fair. It's rigged against us from the jump. And when you talkin' 'bout life or death, you gotta make sure you get it right. You know what I mean?
Executions been goin' up in the US, but support for the death penalty been goin' down. A Gallup poll showed it dropped from 80% in '94 to 52% in 2025. People wakin' up to the fact that this ain't the way. They ain't woke but they sleepin' a little lighter and understandin' more of what is goin' on around them.
