BATON ROUGE, La. — Aight, so check it. Trump, fresh off takin' out them folks in Indiana who crossed him, got his eyes set on Senator Bill Cassidy in Louisiana. Cassidy voted to convict Trump during that impeachment mess, and now Trump's comin' for blood.

Cassidy's in a tight race, he got Rep. Julia Letlow breathing down his neck, and she got Trump's full support. Gov. Landry in her corner too. Then you got this other cat, John Fleming, tryin' to get in the mix, but he ain't really poppin' like that.

This primary gon' be a real test to see how much pull Trump still got in the Republican party. Can he really just get rid of anybody who don't fall in line? That's some scary stuff, man.

Cassidy thought he could just vote how he wanted and it wouldn't be no thang. But Trump ain't forgettin' nothin'. Cassidy even tried to play nice, votin' for RFK Jr. and all that, but Trump ain't buyin' it.

Trump been callin' Cassidy out, sayin' he 'disloyal' and hypin' up Letlow as an 'America First' type. Sounds like somebody gettin' cooked.

Now they got these separate primaries, makin' it harder for Cassidy to get through. Used to be everybody in one big primary, but now it's just Republicans votin' for Republicans. Guess they tryna make it easier for Trump's people to win.

Cassidy talkin' 'bout how he helpin' the oil and gas industry in Louisiana, tryin' to get votes that way. But people ain't worried 'bout that when they see him crossin' Trump. Loyalty is everything, or so it seems.

This whole situation messed up. Trump out here playin' chess, gettin' rid of anybody who ain't down with the program. Makes you wonder who's really runnin' things and what that means for us regular folk.
