Aight, so peep this: Trump and Xi, yeah, the head honchos, they was chattin' 'bout the Strait of Hormuz. Word is, they both on the same page 'bout keepin' that thang open so the oil can keep flowin'. That’s what the White House sayin' anyway.

Now, for all y'all that ain't hip, the Strait of Hormuz is where all that oil from the Middle East gotta pass through. It's like the main vein, you know? If that joint get shut down, it ain't just the rich folks sweatin', it's everybody when them gas prices hit the roof.

They sayin' it's 'bout the 'free flow of energy,' but we know what that means: keep the gas cheap so folks can get to work, keep them factories runnin', and keep the economy from tankin'. Bottom line, this for the bread. Cause ain't nobody tryna go broke just tryna get to they job.

But check it, ain't nobody checkin' for them two. They up there talkin' like regular people even exist. It ain't about us, it's about the corporations. You ever see the corporations suffer like we do? I didn't think so.

So while they sittin' pretty in they ivory towers, the rest of us gotta figure out how to make rent, put food on the table, and still manage to fill up the gas tank. And who gets left behind when the economy goes south? The same folks that always do, the ones that stay eatin' off a dollar menu.

I ain't sayin' I want them oil prices to go up, but I'm sayin' it's time somebody started thinkin' 'bout the little man for once. They talk about a 'shared interest' but all I see is shared struggle, same as always.

Don't let this stuff distract from the real issues. Focus on the struggle at home and take care of ya own. Can't count on folks in charge to do that for you. Protect ya neck.
