Trump Administration Tryna Play Us: Disability Access Rule Gets Pushed Back
They talkin' 'bout givin' schools more time, but what about folks wit' disabilities just tryna live?

Aight, so check it: the Trump administration just pulled some straight-up BS. They done delayed the rule that was supposed to make websites and online stuff easier for folks wit' disabilities to use. We talkin' 'bout folks who blind, deaf, or got other challenges, tryna get they learn on, get jobs, and just live life like everybody else. But nah, Uncle Trump gotta make it harder.
They sayin' the schools and gov'ment don't got the bread or the people to make all this stuff accessible by the original deadline. That deadline was supposed to be this Friday, but now they pushin' it back a whole year, maybe even two, depending on how big the school is. That's some serious cap. They always got money for wars and tax cuts for the rich, but when it comes to helpin' folks wit' disabilities, suddenly the pockets empty.
This rule was supposed to make sure websites got captions for videos, transcripts for audio, and work wit' screen readers so blind folks can understand what's on the page. It's about makin' sure everybody got a fair shot, but the system always tryin' to hold us back.
Corbb O'Connor from the National Federation of the Blind of Minnesota ain't havin' it. He said, and I quote, "Yet again, the blind have been told to wait to live on terms of equality." Real talk. They been waitin' since the ADA passed in 1990, and they still gotta fight for basic rights.
The Association on Higher Education And Disability (AHEAD) is pissed too. They say this delay gonna slow down progress and leave schools without the tools they need to make things fair. But honestly, a lot of these schools already draggin' they feet. This just gives 'em another excuse.
This ain't just about websites; it's about respect. It's about recognizin' that folks wit' disabilities deserve the same opportunities as everybody else. When they can't access online stuff, they missin' out on jobs, education, and all kinds of other things. It's like they gettin' left behind all over again.
We gotta stay woke and keep the pressure on. These politicians ain't gonna do nothin' unless we force 'em to. We gotta let 'em know that disability rights are human rights, and we ain't gonna stop fightin' till everybody gets a fair shake. No cap.
Don't let these cats fool you with the sweet talk. They sayin' they just need more time, but what they really doin' is puttin' profits over people. We gotta stand up and let 'em know we ain't havin' it. It's time for real change, not just empty promises.
This is a straight-up power move. They showin' us who they really care about, and it ain't us. But we gotta remember that we got the power too. We gotta organize, mobilize, and make our voices heard. The struggle continues, ya heard?
