Tim Cook Outta Here: New Apple Boss, Same Game?
Cook steppin' down, new hardware dude John Tenus takin' over – but is Apple gonna start lookin' out for the lil' man?

CUPERTINO, Calif. – Aight, so Tim Cook, Mr. Apple himself, is checkin' out on September 1st. After holdin' it down for nearly 15 years, he passin' the torch to some hardware engineer named John Tenus. Word on the street is Cook gonna stay around as executive chairman, but the real question is: what's this mean for us, the folks actually buyin' these overpriced gadgets?
Cook made Apple the most valuable company on the planet, no doubt. But did that translate to anything real for the people? Nah. Still payin' a grip for iPhones that break every two years. Still gettin' hit with them sneaky software updates that slow down your old phone so you gotta buy a new one.
This Tenus dude, he's a hardware guy. So maybe, just maybe, he'll focus on makin' stuff that lasts longer. Maybe he'll stop tryin' to squeeze every last dollar outta us with planned obsolescence. But I ain't holdin' my breath.
Apple loves to talk about diversity and inclusion, but where's the love for the broke folks? Where's the affordable options? Where's the commitment to fair labor practices in them sweatshops overseas? It's all a bunch of corporate lip service if you ask me.
This new CEO, he gotta understand that Apple ain't just sellin' phones and laptops. They sellin' status. They sellin' access. And they keepin' that access outta reach for a whole lotta folks. It's time for Apple to stop playin' and start puttin' some respect on the community's name.
Cook did his thing, made his money. Now it's on Tenus to change the game. But if he just another suit lookin' out for the shareholders, then we know it's still the same old song and dance. No cap.
We need Apple to step up and actually invest in the community. Give back to the neighborhoods that are buyin' these products. Create opportunities for young people to get into tech. Show us that you ain't just about the Benjamins.
So, yeah, Tim Cook's out. New dude's in. Let's see if this new era gonna be any different. But if it's just more of the same, then we know Apple is just another corporation lookin' to exploit the culture for profit. Keep it 100.
