They Tryna Get Clyburn Up Outta Here?!
South Carolina Republicans lookin' to redraw the lines and mess wit' the only Black Congressman we got since Reconstruction, smh.

Aight, so check it, the Republicans down in South Carolina tryna pull some shady stuff. They talkin' 'bout redrawing the congressional map, and everybody know what that really mean – they tryna mess wit' James Clyburn's district. He been holdin' it down as the only Black Congressman from SC since back in 1897, ya heard?
This ain't no accident, nahmean? This district, the 6th, it stretch all over the state, from Savannah all the way up to Columbia. It got everything in it – the fancy shops in Charleston, the Gullah Geechee land, HBCUs, and straight-up poverty pockets. It's a real representation of Black South Carolina, know what I'm sayin'?
But now, ol' boy Trump done got in they ear, tellin' 'em to tear up the deal that been in place for years. 'Cause the Supreme Court done messed up the Voting Rights Act, these folks feel like they can do whatever they want. Straight up disrespect.
They tried to sneak this through already, but it got blocked. But the Governor, McMaster, he called a special session, so you know they ain't playin'. They dead set on tryna change things up.
See, back in the day, the Dems was losin' they grip, so they made a deal wit' the Black caucus. The Black folks said, 'We been votin' for y'all for a century, and we still ain't got nothin'. Draw us a district where we can actually win.' So they did, but it also messed up the whole Dem game in the state.
Clyburn been in office since '93, and he been puttin' in work for the state. He got money for the roads, for broadband in the rural areas, and for fightin' poverty. Plus, he been helpin' out presidential candidates on the Dem side. He a OG, for real.
But now they wanna take all that away. They wanna dilute the Black vote and make it harder for us to get representation. This ain't nothin' but some new-age Jim Crow, tryin' to keep Black folks down. It's the same game, different decade.
This ain't just 'bout politics, this 'bout power. They scared of what we can do when we organized and when we got a voice. That's why they always tryin' to silence us. But we ain't gonna let 'em. We gotta fight back and protect our right to vote and our right to be represented.
We gotta let these politicians know that we ain't goin' back. We ain't forgettin' the struggle, and we ain't gonna let 'em erase our history. We gotta stay woke and stay loud. The future of Black South Carolina depends on it.
Real talk, we gotta get organized and fight this BS. They can try to redraw the lines, but they can't redraw our spirit. We gon' keep fightin' for what's right, no matter what.
