They Shut Down the Mine, But the Struggle Still Real, Fam
Corporations tryna take what ain't theirs, and Native folks ain't havin' it no more.

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Aight, so Pete Lien and Sons backed down on that graphite mine they was tryna build in the Black Hills. Big ups to the Native folks and environmentalists who put up a fight, but don't get it twisted, the game ain't over. They tryna take what ain't theirs, and they ain't gonna stop unless we keep pushin' back.
Them Sioux Nation folks, they know what's up. Nine different groups, includin' the Standing Rock Sioux, was on they ass about that mine messin' with Pe' Sla, a sacred spot. They ain't playin' when it comes to protectin' they culture and land. This is like a whole generation fightin' the power after seein' what happened at Standing Rock.
Remember Standing Rock? That was a whole movement, people from all walks of life standin' in solidarity with Native folks against that Dakota Access pipeline. They was ready to put they bodies on the line to protect the water and the land. And what happened? They still built that damn pipeline. But the struggle ain't for nothin'. It taught us to never trust these corporations, and to stand tall for the community, even if it means facing some heavy consequences.
Now, they got this Canadian company, Clean Nuclear Energy Corp, tryna mine uranium in Craven Canyon. Same story, different day. Messin' with sacred sites, endangerin' the environment. These folks act like they can just come in here and do whatever they want. But we gon' show em, ain't nothin' sacred about money.
While all this goin' on, they tryna push this Alberta-to-Wyoming pipeline. Claimin' it's about energy independence, but we all know what it's really about: profit. They don't care about the people, they don't care about the planet, they just care about the bag. And they’ll lock you up if you resist. They did Greenpeace dirty for standin' with Standing Rock.
The U.S. always talkin' about bein' independent, but they can't even get they own graphite and uranium. Gotta rely on foreign countries, which is wild. Then they wanna build more pipelines to pump oil from Canada, makin' the whole situation more bogus. Real talk, they better respect indigenous lands or be prepared to face consequences.
The cancellation of the graphite mine is a win, no doubt. But we gotta stay woke. These corporations and politicians ain't gonna stop until they got every last resource. We gotta stand together, protect our communities, and fight for what's right. It ain’t over til we say it’s over.
Remember what Standing Rock Sioux said about the Dakota Access Pipeline, it was a whole threat to they survival. Real talk, that's how we gotta treat every single project that disrespects the earth and the people. Protect the land, water, and people, by any means necessary.
