They Done Messed Up Embarcadero: Vaillancourt Fountain Gone, Fam
City tearin' down history while folks out here tryna survive, man. What's good?

Aight, check it. They done took down the Vaillancourt Fountain over at Embarcadero. Fo real, that big ol' concrete thing? Gone. Been there since before I was born, and now they sayin' it's an "eyesore"? Man, please.
This ain't about no eyesore, this about takin' away somethin' from the people. That fountain was EMB, Embarcadero's Most Blunted, that's where skaters used to be at. Now they tryna gentrify the whole spot, puttin' in some bougie park so rich folks can have a picnic. Sh*t ain't right.
The city sayin' it cost $4 million just to tear it down and store the pieces? That money coulda gone to fixin' schools, helpin' homeless folks, or investin' in Black and brown businesses. But nah, they worried about a damn fountain. Priorities all messed up, ya feel me?
And the way they took it down? Torch cutters set the damn thing on fire! Like, that's some disrespectful sh*t. That fountain was part of the community, part of the culture. Now it's just gone, like it never mattered. But for real, that spot has history.
They always tryna erase the hood, takin' away the places that mean somethin' to us. First it's the affordable housing, then it's the small businesses, now it's the freakin' fountain. Where we gonna go? Where we gonna chill? Where we gonna be ourselves?
I'm tellin' you, this ain't just about a fountain. This about power, who got it and who don't. We gotta start speakin' up, showin' them we ain't gonna let them take our history without a fight. Organize, strategize, and mobilize, man. Let's tell 'em: NOT ON OUR WATCH!
This city ain't for us no more. Unless you rich, ain't no space for you here. Used to be the Bay was a place for everyone, now it's a playground for techies and millionaires. Gotta be real, man. Gotta be real.
Don't let them erase our memories. Don't let them take our joy. Keep the EMB spirit alive. Show 'em we still here, we ain't goin' nowhere, and we ain't gonna be silenced. Word.
