They strip-minin' the ocean, leavin' folks hungry and these big corporations ain't givin' a damn, feel me?

Aight, so check it. They sayin' overfishin' in Southeast Asia is messin' up the whole ecosystem. Real talk, it's beatin' down the block for folks out there tryina survive. These corporations out here strip-minin' the ocean, takin' everything they can, and ain't nobody doin' nothin' to stop 'em. Feel me?
CSIS (Center for Strategic and International Studies) sayin' damn near all the fish gone since the 50s? 70 to 95 percent, G? That's a whole lotta empty nets. That ain't just 'bout fish, that's people's livelihoods, their food, they whole way of life.
The UN sayin' half the world's fish come from there? That's wild. And the US importin' billions in seafood from overseas. We payin' for the destruction, straight up. We out here eatin' like kings while they starvin'. It's a cold game, man.
But hold up, it get worse. International Freedom Fund and Thailand's Labour Protection Network talkin' 'bout sea slavery and debt bondage. They treatin' these fishermen like straight-up slaves. Killin' 'em, abusin' 'em, trappin' 'em in debt. It's like somethin' out of a history book, but it's happenin' right now. No cap.
And China out here buildin' islands and militarizin' they fishing fleet? They flexin' on everybody, takin' what they want, and nobody can check 'em. It's a power move, but it's hurtin' folks on the ground.
Mimit Hantele from the Urak Lawoi tribe in Thailand sayin' the fish gone and now he gotta take tourists out for scuba divin'? Man, these folks used to live off the sea, now they gotta beg for scraps from the tourists. It's messed up, G.
Tanjung Luar in Indonesia, they killin' sharks for they fins? Endangered sharks too? That's a whole 'nother level of disrespect. They sellin' that mess to China for cosmetics and soup. We chasin' dollars while destroyin' the planet. It ain't right.
So what we gonna do about it? We gotta start holdin' these corporations accountable. We gotta demand fair trade and ethical practices. We gotta support the folks on the ground who fightin' for they survival.
We gotta wake up and see that this ain't just 'bout fish. It's 'bout justice, it's 'bout human rights, it's 'bout respect for the Earth. Keep it 100, y'all. We gotta do better.
