That Trash Ain't Goin' Nowhere: Incinerators Still Spewin' Poison in the Hood
They swearin' these incinerators cleanin' up the waste, but the air still thick with that forever chemical stank, ya dig?

Aight, listen up, cuz this ain't no joke. They tryna play us like we dumb, sayin' these incinerators is the answer to all that trash pile up. Talkin' 'bout burnin' all the garbage good and clean. But real talk? That mess just turnin' into poison clouds, rainin' down on the same hoods that always gettin' shafted.
See, they pushin' these incinerators hard, sayin' it's the only way to deal with that PFA mess. These 'forever chemicals' in everything, from your raincoat to your takeout box, and they ain't breakin' down, EVER. So they burn it, right? Except that burnin' ain't gettin' rid of nothin'.
This industry group, MRRA, dropped a report claimin' their incinerators in Minnesota cuttin' PFAS emissions by 99.6%. Sounds sweet, right? Nah, don't fall for the okey-doke. The Zero Burn Coalition and other folks callin' straight cap on that. Sayin' the report full of holes and straight up lies.
Nazir Khan from Minnesota Environmental Justice Table ain't havin' it. Said, “This trash becomes the problem of the poor and marginalized to deal with in their bodies.” He speakin' facts. We the ones breathin' that mess, livin' next to these poison factories.
PFAS linked to cancer, messed up kids, all types of sickness. And they dumpin' this trash in our backyard? Nah, that ain't right. These chemicals ain't goin' nowhere. They in the ground, in the water, now they in the air. And the corporations makin' bank while we sufferin'.
Attorney Michael Youhana from Earthjustice droppin' truth bombs: “I’m not aware of any industrial-scale commercial incinerator that solves this problem.” So basically, they frontin'. Sellin' us a dream that ain't real. We gotta wake up and demand better, yo.
Folks fightin' to shut down incinerators in Miami, Philly, Baltimore, all over. And they even suin' the EPA for weak standards. But we gotta do more than just sign petitions and protest. We gotta hit these corporations where it hurts – their pockets. Stop buyin' their poison, stop supportin' their lies. Know what I'm sayin'?
They try to divide and conquer, but we all breathin' the same air. We gotta stand together, Black, white, brown, everybody. Fight for clean air, fight for our health, fight for our future. This ain't just about incinerators, it's about power. Who got it, and who gettin' stepped on. And we ain't gettin' stepped on no more.
