That Tariff Money: They Gon' Give It Back, Or Nah?
Supreme Court say the tariffs was bogus, but folks ain't holdin' they breath for no refund, feel me?

Aight, so peep this: The Supreme Court done said them tariffs Trump put in place was straight up illegal. Word is, that's over $160 billion they gotta pay back. But real talk, ain't nobody expectin' to see that bread.
See, the catch is, they only talkin' 'bout payin' back the folks who paid the tariffs directly. Which means yo' average hard-workin' citizen, the one who felt the pinch at the store when prices went up, is gettin' left in the dust. That's some BS, straight up.
This cat named Alex Grossomanides, he bought a jacket and got hit with a $248 tariff 'cause it was made in Myanmar. He hopin' to get his money back, but he ain't too confident. He paid through DHL, and we all know how that go. Good luck gettin' them folks to cut you a check.
And it ain't just consumers feelin' the squeeze. Small businesses took a hit too. This lady, Sue Johnson, she owns a lamp shop, and her supplier jacked up the price of her materials 'cause of them tariffs. Now she stuck payin' more, and ain't gettin' nothin' back. System stay schemin', I tell ya.
Another sista, Kacie Wright, run a musical instrument business. She had to spend six months just tryin' to register for a refund. Six months! That's time and money wasted just to maybe get a lil' somethin' back. Meanwhile, Amazon and Walmart just laughin' all the way to the bank.
This lawyer dude, Jared Slipman, even said the process is so complicated, most small businesses probably won't even bother. They know the game is rigged. It's all designed to keep the little guy down while the big corporations stay fat and happy. That's the American Dream, right?
So, what's the moral of the story? Don't hold yo' breath waitin' for the government to do right by you. They gonna look out for they own, and leave the rest of us scroungin' for scraps. Stay woke, stay hustlin', and keep yo' eyes on the prize.
Real talk, this whole situation just another example of how the system stacked against us. They take our money, then make it damn near impossible to get it back. Time to build our own table, 'cause ain't nobody gonna give us a seat at theirs.
