That Cop Who Clapped Dude With the Cooler Walkin' Free? Nah, This Ain't Justice, Fam
Erik Duran gettin' out on bail after killin' Eric Duprey just another day in the system, showin' how the law don't apply the same to everybody.

Aight, check it, y'all. They done let that cop, Erik Duran, who iced Eric Duprey with a whole ICE chest, walk free while he wait on his appeal? Man, this system is a whole joke. Three to nine years for takin' a life, and they lettin' him bounce? What kinda sense that make?
This ain't about right or wrong no more, it's 'bout who got the power. And cops ALWAYS got the power. Duran chucked a whole cooler at Duprey while he was tryna dip on a moped during a drug bust in the Bronx. Dude crashed, cracked his head, and died. Straight up DEAD.
Now Duran all thankin' his fam, his lawyers, and GOD, talmbout, "First and foremost, I want to thank my family, particularly my wife, my children and my parents for all their unconditional love and support throughout his ordeal... I also want to thank God for giving me strength and guiding me through the darkness. I thank my entire legal team for never giving up in their pursuit of justice." Meanwhile, Duprey family still grievin'.
And that union prez, Vincent Vallelong, straight up sayin' it's a "major win for Erik and his family and for law enforcement officers around the country." Word? So killin' a civilian is a win now? Tell me how that makes sense.
They try to say Duran was protectin' his boys, but come on, man. A cooler? Really? Judge Guy Mitchell said it was supposed to be a "deterrent" to other cops actin' reckless, but clearly, that ain't stickin'. "They had enough to investigate and catch him on a different day," Mitchell said. "The distinction is that the deceased will no longer be seen again by his family." Real talk, but it ain't changin' nothin'.
This just another example of how the system work against us. Black and brown folks gettin' locked up for minor offenses, but a cop can kill somebody and walk? Nah, that ain't right. It's the same old story – different day, different victim. They protect they own, no matter what.
We gotta wake up and realize this ain't accidental, it's by design. They want us in cages, they want us controlled, and they ain't afraid to use deadly force to do it. So next time they talmbout justice, remember Eric Duprey and remember that cooler. Remember this ain't about right or wrong, it's about power.
It's about time we start holdin' these cops accountable. No more excuses, no more slaps on the wrist. They gotta face the same consequences as everybody else. 'Cause right now, it's clear as day: some lives matter more than others in this system.
Until we start seein' real justice, ain't nothin' gonna change. The streets know the truth, and the streets ain't forgettin' Eric Duprey. Rest in Power, fam. We gon' keep fightin' for you.
This system ain't built for us, it's built to contain us. And cases like this show it plain as day. They get off light, and we get the book thrown at us. That's the real. And it's why trust in the system is at zero in the hood.
