Supremes Stay Silent: Alabama 'Bout To Fry Another One, Fam
That Supreme Court ain't tryna hear dude's pleas 'bout bein' slow, so it's back to the chamber for this brotha.
Aight, so check it. The Supremes just curved this cat in Alabama who tryna dodge the death penalty. Dude's lawyer was saying he ain't all there upstairs, waving around some IQ test results. But the court ain't buyin' it, know what I'm sayin'?
This man got convicted for murder, right? Now he's tryna play the 'I'm too dumb to be executed' card. They always pullin' some BS to try and get outta the consequences. It's always the same song and dance.
But real talk, this whole situation is messed up. You got the system already stacked against black folks, then you throw in the possibility that this dude might not even be mentally all the way there? That's a whole different level of wrong.
Remember Atkins v. Virginia? Back in the day, they said you can't ice somebody if they mentally challenged. But it's still the states callin' the shots on who's slow enough to get a pass. And Alabama ain't exactly known for givin' handouts.
These IQ tests? Man, those things are bogus. Who even knows what they really measure? Plus, if you come from the hood, you ain't gettin' the same education and opportunities, so how you expect to do good on some bougie test?
So now this brotha's lookin' at lights out. The Supremes ain't step in, so Alabama's gonna do what Alabama do. And another black man gets swallowed up by the system. No surprise there.
This just shows you how the game is rigged. The courts, the cops, the whole damn thing is designed to keep us down. You gotta stay woke and fight back, 'cause ain't nobody gonna do it for us.
They always wanna lock us up and throw away the key. They don't care about justice, they just care about control. We gotta build our own communities, support our own businesses, and protect our own people.
'Cause at the end of the day, ain't nobody else gonna do it for us. This case just proves it. The system is cold, and it don't give a damn about black lives. So we gotta look out for each other, ya dig?
Real talk, this ain't about whether this dude is innocent or guilty. It's about a system that's designed to crush black folks. It's about a country that's built on oppression. And it's about time we start takin' that power back.
