Supreme Court Gave 'Em a Lil' Breather on Dat Abortion Pill, But the Struggle Real
Them folks in robes put a pause on messin' wit' the pill, but don't get it twisted, they ain't on our side.

Aight, so check it. The Supreme Court done stepped in and gave us a lil' minute to breathe on this whole abortion pill situation. They put a hold on that lower court tryna mess with how folks get Mifepristone, that's the pill they be usin' to end pregnancies. Now, don't get it twisted, this ain't no victory parade. This just means they ain't made up they mind yet.
This Mifepristone, it's been 'round for years, and it's usually taken with another pill, Misoprostol. Together, they do the job. But now, these judges tryna make it harder for folks to get it, especially through the mail. And you know who that gonna hurt the most? Black women, poor women, folks in the sticks who can't just hop in the car and drive to a clinic.
This whole thing started in Texas, where they always tryna mess with a woman's right to choose. Some judge down there tried to block the FDA from even lettin' people use the pill. Then the appeals court said, nah, it can stay, but you can't mail it and gotta go see a doctor in person. That's BS.
The Biden administration and the company that makes the pill, Danco, they went to the Supreme Court and said, yo, this is messed up. They right. This about control, plain and simple. They want to control women's bodies.
Some professor lady, Mary Ziegler from UC Davis, she talkin' 'bout the legal stuff. But let's be real, this ain't about the law, it's about power.
This hold the Supreme Court put in place, it only lasts a week. They could still let them restrictions go through. And if they do, it's gonna be a problem for a whole lot of folks, especially us.
We gotta stay woke and stay loud. They ain't gonna give us nothin'. We gotta fight for it. This ain't just about abortion, it's about freedom. It's about havin' control over our own bodies and our own lives.
Don't let them fool you with this little pause. They still comin' for us. Stay ready.
The Supreme Court put a hold on restrictions to the abortion pill, but the fight for reproductive justice ain't over. We gotta stay woke and keep fightin' for our rights.
