Stalkin' Ain't Dead: Why the Streets is Watchin' and the Feds Ain't Do Nuffin'
Numbers don't lie: stalking cases jumpin' in the UK, but ain't nobody holdin' these stalkers accountable for messin' with folks' peace.

Aight, listen up. This ain't no joke. Stalkin' is on the rise in England and Wales, and it's messin' with real peoples' lives. We talkin' about folks livin' in fear, lookin' over they shoulder, can't even chill without thinkin' somebody watchin'. This ain't no movie, this is real life.
Data from the House of Commons Library shows the police record way more stalkin' now than they did a decade ago. We went from under 3,000 cases to over 135,000. The Crown Prosecution Service tryin' to act like they doin' somethin', chargnin' more folks, but still, the streets ain't feelin' safer.
See, the news always showin' celebs gettin' stalked, but that ain't the real story. Most times, it's somebody's ex, a bitter hater, or some creep from the block who can't take no for an answer. These folks be messin' with your head, tryin' to control you, makin' you feel like you can't breathe.
My girl Hannah Al-Othman from The Guardian sayin' people know more about stalkin' now, and that's why the numbers goin' up. Maybe. But I'm thinkin' it's more about how easy it is to stalk folks online. Everybody got a phone, everybody on social media, everybody leavin' a trail. It's like makin' it easy for these stalkers to find you.
These campaigners be sayin' the problem gettin' worse, with abusers findin' new ways to harass and watch people. They hidin' trackers in cars, hackin' phones, creatin' fake profiles – anything to mess with your head. The internet ain't makin' it easier, ya heard?
The real question is, what the feds doin' about it? They talkin', but they ain't walkin'. These corporations don't care about your safety. They care about makin' money. So, they ain't gonna shut down the platforms or change the algorithms that let stalkers run wild.
The government ain't helpin' neither. They too busy worryin' 'bout other stuff to focus on regular folks dealin' with stalkers. So, we gotta look out for ourselves. Watch your surroundings, protect your information, and trust your gut. If somethin' feel off, it probably is.
And to all the stalkers out there: Yo, get a life! Stop messin' with people and find somethin' better to do with your time. Real talk, stalkin' ain't cool. It's weak and it's pathetic. And if you get caught, you deserve whatever comin' to you.
This ain't just numbers on a page. This about real lives, real fears, and real danger. We gotta stand together, support each other, and make sure everybody know stalkin' ain't tolerated. Keep ya head up, stay safe, and watch out for the snakes in the grass. KnowWhatIMean?
