Word is, this cat Shamar Elkins smoked seven of his own kids, plus another one. Ages one to twelve, straight innocence. Mama and another lady fightin' for they lives. Elkins tried to run, but the po-po caught up and now he sleepin' dirt naps.

They gonna talk 'bout mental health, they gonna talk 'bout gun control, they gonna talk 'bout everything but the real sht. The real sht is these families out here strugglin', feelin' hopeless, and not knowin' where to turn. This ain't just a Shreveport problem, this everywhere, fam.

Where the love at? Where the support? Where the resources for these folks who feel like they drownin'? This ain't 'bout politics, it's 'bout people. It's 'bout kids who ain't even had a chance to live they lives.
