Senate Tryna Holla at Iran? They Playin' Games Wit' This War Powers Resolution
This vote lookin' like another power grab, but who it really helpin'? Not the folks on the block, that's for sure.

Aight, listen up. The Senate done passed somethin' called a War Powers Resolution, supposed to be checkin' the President's power when it come to Iran. But real talk, this ain't about us, it's just more politickin' in D.C.
This resolution say the Prez can't be startin' no long-term beef wit' Iran without gettin' the OK from Congress. Sixty days, they say. Like that's gonna change anything when bombs start droppin' and folks start dyin'.
All this drama wit' Iran been escalatin' – oil tankers gettin' hit, drones gettin' shot down, that general gettin' took out. Now they wanna act like they care about preventin' a war? Please.
The War Powers Resolution been on the books since '73, but presidents been doin' what they want anyway. This just a show, another way for them to look busy while they line they pockets.
Historically, this country been sendin' folks off to war for who knows what reason. Iraq, Vietnam, Afghanistan – all that money and all them lives wasted. And for what? So some corporations can get richer?
The implications of this resolution is shaky af. Like, is the Prez gonna listen? Is Congress gonna actually do somethin'? Or is this just more talk and no action, like always?
Analysts say this resolution depend on if the Prez wanna play ball. But we know how that go. He gonna do what he want, and Congress gonna be too busy fightin' to stop him.
Pressure to end these attacks on Iran comin' from everywhere, but it don't mean nothin' if they ain't addressin' the root of the problem. We need jobs, healthcare, and education, not more bombs and bullets.
This debate 'bout war powers just show how out of touch these folks in D.C. are. They worried 'bout power and politics, while we out here tryin' to survive. They ain't representin' us, they representin' the corporations and the rich folks.
This whole situation just another reminder that we gotta look out for ourselves and each other. These politicians ain't got our back. They just playin' games, and we the ones who gonna pay the price. They tryna finesse the people. For real.
This war resolution ain't for us. It's a power play, and we gotta stay woke and pay attention to what's really goin' on.
