S&P Shootin' Up While the Block Still Hustlin'
Wall Street eatin' good off the Strait of Hormuz, but what about the people?
Yo, check it. The S&P 500 been on a tear, three weeks straight. They say it's 'cause the Strait of Hormuz open again and these corporations makin' bank. But lemme tell you somethin', ain't nothin' changed on the block.
These suits on Wall Street be gettin' fat while we still out here grindin', tryin' to make ends meet. They talkin' 'bout "investor confidence" and all that, but what about confidence in the community? What about jobs that pay a livin' wage? What about healthcare that don't bankrupt you?
The Strait of Hormuz, that's just a fancy name for where the rich folks get their oil. They ain't worried about gas prices goin' up, 'cause they got money to burn. But for us, a few cents at the pump can make or break the week.
And these "strong corporate earnings"? That just means they cuttin' corners and squeezin' every last drop outta their workers. They ain't sharin' the wealth, they just pilin' it up for themselves.
They keep sayin' the economy doin' good, but I ain't seein' it where I'm at. Rent still too high, food prices still crazy, and ain't nobody gettin' a raise. This whole system rigged, man.
It's all about profits over people. These corporations don't care about the community, they just care about the bottom line. They'll pollute the air, exploit workers, and dodge taxes, all to make a few extra bucks.
We gotta start demandin' more. We gotta fight for economic justice, for fair wages, for affordable housing, for healthcare for all. We gotta build our own institutions, support our own businesses, and create our own wealth.
The stock market ain't gonna save us. We gotta save ourselves. We gotta organize, mobilize, and demand change. We gotta build a world where everyone has a chance to thrive, not just the rich and powerful.
They talkin' 'bout the Strait of Hormuz like it's a game-changer. But for us, it's just the same old story. The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. We gotta break this cycle, man.
Corporate earnings, huh? Where's that money goin'? Not to the people who actually make the company run, that's for sure. It's goin' straight to the pockets of the CEOs and shareholders.
Don't let these numbers fool you. The S&P 500 goin' up ain't mean nothin' if the streets still struggling. We gotta focus on building wealth in our communities, not just watchin' Wall Street get richer.
Stay woke, y'all. This ain't a game. This is about our lives, our families, and our future. We gotta fight for what's right, even if it means standin' up to the whole damn system. Keep it 100.
