Rubio Sayin' Hormuz Strait Gon' Stay Open... But At What Cost?
Politicians talkin' 'bout oil, but what 'bout the folks on the ground?

So, Rubio out here tellin' Al Jazeera the Strait of Hormuz gonna be open 'one way or another.' Sounds tough, right? But peep this: what that really mean for us?
The Strait of Hormuz, that's where all the oil gotta pass through. If that gets blocked, gas prices skyrocket. Groceries get more 'spensive. Everything hits the fan, and who feels it first? Us. The everyday folks just tryin' to make ends meet.
These politicians, they always talkin' 'bout national security and global interests. But they ain't thinkin' 'bout how war affectin' families. How it tearin' communities apart. How it sendin' our youngstas over there just to come back broken, if they come back at all.
They talkin' 'bout sendin' troops, flexin' muscles. But ain't nobody askin' if them resources could be used to fix the schools, build affordable housing, create jobs right here at home. Nah, 'cause war profitable, fam. Always been.
And don't even get me started on the hypocrisy. They claimin' to care 'bout freedom and democracy, but they supportin' dictatorships overseas that keep oppressing they own people. It's a whole game, man.
We gotta start askin' questions. Who really benefitin' from all this? Who gettin' rich off war? Who payin' the price? 'Cause it sure ain't the politicians in they fancy suits and million-dollar homes.
We gotta build power from the ground up. Organize. Mobilize. Demand better. Demand justice. Demand peace. Stop lettin' these folks play us for pawns in they global chess game.
This ain't just 'bout oil. It's 'bout power. It's 'bout control. It's 'bout who gettin' played and who doin' the playin'. And right now, we on the losin' side. But it don't gotta stay that way.
We gotta wake up and realize we ain't gotta be victims in this story. We can write our own narrative. We can build a better world. But it start with us. Right here. Right now.
So next time you hear some politician talkin' 'bout war, ask yourself: what's the real cost? Who really gon' pay? And is it worth it?
Rubio speaks on Hormuz; but for everyday people, is that a real benefit? Politicians talk about oil but what does it cost the community to get it.
