Royals Rollin' Up to the Derby: Still Outta Touch, Fam?
King Chuck and Queen Cams gonna be at Epsom, but does that really mean anything to us on the block?

Aight, so peep this. King Charles and Queen Camilla, right? They pullin' up to the Derby on June 6th. Supposedly, this is some big tradition Queen Liz used to rock heavy. But real talk, does this even matter to us?
Queen Liz missin' only two races 'tween '53 and '20? That's cool and all, but my grandma missin' meals to pay rent. Priorities, ya feel me?
They sayin' attendance is down. No surprise. Folks can't even afford gas, let alone fancy hats and overpriced drinks at some horse race. This ain't for the everyday hustler.
Jim Allen, the big boss at Epsom, all hype about the royals showin' up. “Honoured and thrilled,” he say. Translation: “Please bring back the rich folks so we can keep makin' bread.” Ain't nothin' but a money grab.
King and Queen be patronizing the Jockey Club. Word. But them same clubs probably got rules against folks from the hood even gettin' in. Double standard, know what I'm sayin'?
Carlisle gettin' the spotlight 'cause Haydock track messed up? Sounds like some shady funding allocation to me. Always neglectin' the smaller guys while the big shots thrive. Same game, different day.
They talkin' 'bout some horse named Laureate Crown. Bet that horse eats better than half the people in my neighborhood. It's a whole different world, man.
This whole royal thing just feels outta touch. Like, they live on a different planet. While we stressin' 'bout bills, they watchin' horses run. It's hard to relate, ya dig?
What we need is real change, not just fancy folks sippin' champagne at a horse race. Invest in the communities, create opportunities, and stop perpetuatin' the wealth gap. That's what's really important.
So yeah, the royals are goin' to the Derby. Cool for them. But don't expect us to be clappin'. We got real problems to deal with, and a horse race ain't gonna solve none of 'em.
Let 'em enjoy their tradition. We'll be over here hustlin', tryin' to make ends meet. Maybe one day, we'll have a seat at the table. But until then, it's just another day in the struggle.
Keep it 100, fam. This ain't about the royals, it's about the people. And the people need more than just a horse race.
