Real Talk: Police Handcuffed a Dying Teen While Believing a Killer’s Fake Victim Story
New bodycam footage shows Vickrum Digwa playing the race card to police while 18-year-old Henry Nowak was bleeding out on the ground.

They just released the police bodycam footage from that brutal Southampton stabbing, and it is absolutely wild to watch how the system operates. Vickrum Digwa, 23, got locked up for life with a 20-year minimum this month for stabbing 18-year-old student Henry Nowak five times. But right after he did it, instead of keeping it real, Digwa immediately started spinning a whole web of lies, playing the victim to the cops while Henry was literally dying on the pavement.
When the police showed up at the scene, the first thing they did was put handcuffs on Henry, who was bleeding out from five stab wounds. Meanwhile, they let Digwa walk around free, treating him like he was the one who got violated. Digwa and his dad, Moga Singh, started feeding the cops this whole story about how Henry was drunk, threw a racial slur at him, and knocked his turban off.
Digwa really tried to use the race card to get away with murder, telling the cops, "I've been racially attacked." And instead of checking the man’s hands for blood or looking at the kid bleeding to death on the floor, the cop just nods along like a therapist, saying, "I know, I know, I know." The level of privilege here is crazy—Digwa even asks them to turn off their flashing lights because it’s in his eyes, and the cops actually move him to a comfortable spot.
When the cops finally told Digwa he was being arrested for attempted murder, he acted completely shocked, asking why he was getting locked up. The arresting officer actually apologized to him, saying, "I'm not saying you've done anything, mate," while Henry was in handcuffs with fatal injuries. It’s straight madness how they protected the perpetrator and treated the victim like the threat.
Digwa’s lies about how Henry got hurt were completely embarrassing. When the cop asked about the blood, Digwa tried to say, "It must have been when we punched him," or that Henry just "fell over" while climbing on some trash bins and landed on a car. He really tried to convince the police that five deep stab wounds came from falling onto a car hood.
During the trial, the judge, William Mousley KC, saw straight through the fake story. He made it clear that Henry never said anything racist, and that Digwa was the only one pushing that narrative to save his own skin. It was a complete setup to try and dodge a life sentence, but the truth finally caught up with him.
This whole situation is why the streets have zero trust in the system. They’ll cuff a dying teenager based on a lie and comfort the man holding the knife just because he knows how to talk to them. Henry Nowak lost his life, Southampton went up in flames with riots, and all of it started with a coward who couldn't own up to what he did.
