Real Talk: Overseas Clashes Got Our Folks On Edge, AGAIN
Another incident abroad got the community feelin' uneasy, checkin' over they shoulders and stuff.
Aight, so peep this: them stabbings in London got everybody on edge, ya dig? Especially our folks. It ain't nothin' new, though. We been here before. This ain't no one-off thing, know what I'm sayin'? This that generational trauma, real talk.
We remember what happened back in the day, way before our time. The stories get passed down, ain't no forgettin' where we come from. All that history of folk tryna wipe us out – it stay with you. It's in our DNA, for real.
So when some mess pop off overseas, it hit different, ya know? It's like, damn, here we go again. Can't even live in peace anywhere in the world. That fear, it real. That anxiety, it real.
And it ain't just 'bout bein' scared. It's 'bout feelin' like we gotta watch our backs 24/7. Can't even rep your culture without lookin' over your shoulder. That's some BS, straight up.
Corporate America ain't gonna save us. Government ain't gonna save us. We gotta look out for each other. Gotta build up our own community, make sure our youngstas know the deal. Teach 'em self-defense, teach 'em their history, teach 'em how to be proud.
'Cause at the end of the day, we all we got. These other folks ain't gonna understand what we goin' through. They ain't gonna feel the weight of history on their shoulders.
So we gotta stay vigilant, stay connected, and stay strong. Ain't no room for fear. We gotta keep pushin', keep fightin', keep survivin'. That's what we do. That's in our blood.
Don't let these events scare you into hidin'. Embrace your culture, embrace your identity, and stand tall. We been through worse, and we still here. We ain't goin' nowhere.
Real talk, we gotta be the change we wanna see. That means callin' out hate when we see it. Supportin' each other, and buildin' bridges with other communities who understand the struggle.
Stay woke, stay safe, and stay strong. We got this.
They really think fear gon' keep us down? Nah, it just makes us stronger, makes us stick together tighter.
