Real Talk: Nationals MP Thinkin' 'Bout Jumpin' Ship to One Nation After That Farrer Loss
Politicians scramblin' after One Nation showed out in that by-election, leavin' folk wonderin' what's really goin' on and who lookin' out for the community.

Aight, so check it, fam. This Nationals MP, Colin Boyce, he sweatin' after that Farrer by-election. One Nation came outta nowhere and snatched damn near half the vote. Now ol' boy's talkin' 'bout switchin' sides. Straight up.
Boyce, representin' Flynn out in Queensland, lookin' at the writing on the wall. He said, “The reality of what has happened last night has to be put into perspective: so approximately 40% primary vote in the Farrer byelection [was] for One Nation , so the big question is, what does that look like in central Queensland?” Translation: He's worried One Nation finna run up on his district, know what I'm sayin'?
He even said Pauline Hanson could roll through Rockhampton easier than Albury. Cause she be tapin' into that real talk, that frustration folks feelin'. Meanwhile, these other cats just be politickin'.
When they asked him straight up if he gonna join One Nation, he gave that politician sidestep: “I consider a lot of things.” Which basically means, “Yeah, I'm weighin' my options, tryna see where the bread gettin' buttered.”
But peep this: he ain't wrong 'bout the whole party needin' a wake-up call. “Absolutely. And I think everybody should be thinking about their political future, particularly the people who are the organisers in the hierarchy. If this isn’t a wake-up call for conservative politics, what is?” That's real. Politicians gotta start listin' to the people. Understand?
He mentioned how One Nation been makin' moves in Queensland for years. And when Pauline Hanson backed him, his numbers jumped. See, folks want authenticity. They tired of the same old song and dance. Politicians be lyin, but voters are wise.
This dude been pushin' that climate change denial, too. And sayin' blackouts a “political opportunity.” See, this what I'm talkin' 'bout. They don't care 'bout us. They just chasin' that bag.
Barnaby Joyce, who already bounced to One Nation, was all nonchalant, like, “Do you, fam.” Meanwhile, the Liberals got smoked in that by-election. Down 30%. That's what happens when you outta touch with the streets. These politicians better get wit' it or get lost. The community is on the rise.
At the end of the day, it is not about the politicians. It's about what we need as a people, you hear? These politicians are going to switch up on you so you have to switch up on them.
