Real Talk: MTG and Tucker Carlson Say They're Done with the Republican Party
With the midterms right around the corner, two of the biggest names on the right are calling out the GOP for selling out their own voters.

Look, the political game is getting messy, and the people at the top are starting to turn on each other. Former Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and media host Tucker Carlson just announced they are completely done backing the Republican Party. This is a major shakeup, especially with the midterm elections coming up fast. Regular folks are tired of the games, and now even the party's biggest boosters are saying they’ve had enough.
Tucker Carlson started the wave when he went on the Can’t Be Censored podcast and said there was "no chance" he would support the GOP anymore. Now, Tucker has been defending the Republicans for 35 years and was one of Donald Trump's biggest hype men. But he said he’s completely out. He made sure to say he ain’t turning into a Democrat either, but he’s done with the Republican establishment. He warned that if someone like him is walking away, a whole lot of everyday people are about to walk out the door too.
It didn't take long for Marjorie Taylor Greene to back him up. She jumped on social media and straight-up said Tucker isn't the only one who is done. She wrote that a whole lot of people are "absolutely fed up" with a party "that betrays its voters and country." She kept it real: she isn't joining the Democrats, but she is completely finished with what she called the "America LAST Republican Party."
And honestly, you can’t blame people for being mad when you look at what's going on with the money. Both of them are calling out the administration for ignoring the streets. While politicians are focused on foreign wars, regular families are dealing with crazy inflation. Prices keep going up and up, but the paychecks are staying the exact same. Wages are not keeping up with the cost of living, and the people in power are doing nothing to fix it.
They’re also pointing fingers at the foreign policy mess. Tucker has been speaking out against the U.S. getting involved in wars overseas. He’s been criticizing Israel, saying they’re trying to drag the U.S. into a war with Iran. Tucker even let it slip that Trump promised him in the Oval Office last year that he wouldn't go to war with Iran. Because of all this, Tucker said he’s "tormented" by his past support for Trump and regrets helping him get into office.
But the biggest drama is between MTG and Trump. Their whole relationship fell apart because MTG wanted to know what was going on with the Jeffrey Epstein files. She criticized how the administration handled the government records on the dead sex offender and his powerful friends. Instead of getting answers, the MAGA base turned on her, and Trump started calling her Marjorie "Traitor" Greene.
