Real Talk: 61% of Us Strugglin' to Keep Food on the Table
Cost of livin' wildin' out here, and they tryna blame everybody but themselves, nahmean?
Aight, check it. They dropped some numbers, and it ain't lookin' good for the fam. 61% of us gotta cut back on groceries? That's messed up, G. We talkin' 'bout folks gotta choose between eatin' good and keepin' the lights on. That ain't right.
And get this, over 75% of folks, even 55% of Republicans, say that the polices these politicians been pushin' is makin' it harder to survive. They raised the damn prices on everything, from gas to milk to eggs. They ain't livin' like we livin', so they don't even get it. They be eatin' steak while we schemin' how to make ramen stretch for a week.
This ain't new, tho. They been playin' us for years. Remember the last administration? Said they were gonna make things great, but all they did was make the rich richer and the rest of us struggle even harder. Now it's back to the same old song and dance. They lyin' to your face and ain't even blinkin'.
We gotta wake up and see what's really goin' on. They want us fightin' each other so we don't notice they stealin' from us. Black, white, brown—we all in the same boat when it comes to gettin' played by the system. We gotta get up and find some real help for ourselves. Stop looking for politicians to save us, and start saving ourselves.
We gotta start supportin' each other. Grow our own food, share what we got, and hold these politicians accountable. Stop buyin' the garbage these corporations try to sell us. Let 'em know we ain't gonna be played no more. Turn off the tv and get organized.
Real talk, ain't nobody comin' to save us. We gotta save ourselves. Let's show them what it means to be a real community. Straight up.
It's time to organize. Every hood every block. These are the things we gotta do to survive out here.
