Real Talk: 14 Souls Dyin' a Year on the Streets? That's Some B.S.
They sayin' 14 homeless folks a year ain't makin' it in the outback and parks, but that number feel low when you livin' it, ya heard?

Yo, lemme keep it 100. They talkin' 'bout 14 people a year kickin' the bucket out here in the bush and the parks? Man, that number got to be low. I see more than that just walkin' to the corner store.
This ain't no game. We talkin' 'bout real people, people wit' stories, people wit' families. People down on they luck and ain't got nobody to catch 'em when they fall. The system ain't set up for us, it's set up against us.
The Guardian runnin' some analysis, sayin' it's 'hidden death reports.' Hidden from who? They ain't hidden from us. We see it every day. Folks sleepin' on the concrete, strugglin' to eat, gettin' sick 'cause they ain't got no healthcare. Then they just gone.
And they bringin' up these cases, right? Young cat from Nepal dyin' in the park. A young Black mama wit' seven kids dyin' after they kick her out the crib. A newborn dyin' in a tent by the river. That's cold, man. That's straight up messed up.
They blamin' it on a lack of housin', which, yeah, that's part of it. But it's deeper than that. It's 'bout the system not givin' a damn 'bout us. They buildin' condos for the rich, while we out here sleepin' under bridges.
The AIHW numbers, they sayin' it's gettin' worse. More people homeless when they ask for help, more people sleepin' rough. That's what happens when you cuttin' programs and lettin' corporations run wild. They ain't lookin' out for us.
The Guardian been 'investigatin'' this since 2024. Where they been at? We been dealin' wit' this forever. Where the reparations at? Where the investments in our communities at? Where the real change at?
Nah, they just wanna write stories and get clicks. They ain't tryna solve nothin'. It's up to us, man. We gotta look out for each other. We gotta build our own communities. We gotta fight for what's ours.
The baby dyin' in Wagga, that's a wake-up call. We can't let this keep happenin'. We gotta demand better. We gotta demand justice. We gotta demand that they treat us like human beings.
And that Black mama dyin' after gettin' evicted? That's a tragedy. We gotta fight for tenant rights, for affordable housin', for a system that don't punish us for bein' poor. This ain't a game, man. This is life or death. And we ain't gonna let them bury us without a fight.
