Ramaswamy Got the Nod in Ohio: What Dat Mean for the Block?
Trump homie Vivek won the primary, but will his policies actually help the everyday folks in Ohio or just line the pockets of the rich?

Aight, so check it: Vivek Ramaswamy, dude got that Republican nomination for governor in Ohio. Trump was hypin' him up, callin' him 'Young, Strong, and Smart!' and all that. But real talk, what does that mean for us, the people actually livin' in these streets?
This cat runnin' on cuttin' taxes and all that jazz. But who benefits from that? Usually, it's the folks already sittin' pretty, not the ones strugglin' to make rent and put food on the table. He talkin' 'bout makin' Ohio affordable, but we gotta see the receipts.
He gonna be goin' up against Amy Acton, she ran the health department during COVID. Some folks feel she did her job, tryna keep us safe. Others think she locked us down too much, hurtin' businesses and all that. Either way, she representin' the other side of the coin.
Now, Putsch, this other dude who ran against Ramaswamy, he tried to play the race card, talkin' 'bout Vivek's South Asian background. That's weak. We ain't fallin' for that divide-and-conquer BS. But the fact remains, Vivek is rich, he's got bread. Can he really relate to the struggles of folks livin' in poverty, dealin' with homelessness, like Acton say she did?
He talkin' 'bout 'parental rights' in schools, which sounds good on the surface. But sometimes that just means white folks tryna control what Black and Brown kids learn. We gotta make sure our voices are heard too, that our history and culture ain't gettin' erased.
They say no Democrat won statewide since 2006. That's a long time. But things is changin'. People tired of the same old broken promises. We need real change, real solutions to the problems plaguin' our communities.
So, yeah, Vivek won the primary. But the game ain't over. We gotta hold these politicians accountable, make sure they lookin' out for all of us, not just the wealthy and the connected. Keep your eyes open, stay woke, and let's make sure our voices are heard in November. No cap.
Remember that Doge thing? Trump's 'department of government efficiency' that Vivek was part of? Sounded like a bunch of corporate BS to me. More cuts, more sellouts. Nah, we need real investment in our communities, not just tax breaks for the rich.
Former Senator Sherrod Brown also won his primary. He's supposed to be for the people. Let's see if he lives up to it. We need allies, not just empty promises.
