Paper Mill Blow Up in WA State: 9 Dead, Where the Justice At?
Another workplace tragedy got folks laid out, but will them corporations be held accountable for real?

LONGVIEW, Wash. — Man, this ain't right. Nine souls gone up to glory after that paper mill blew sky high out in Longview. That Nippon Dynawave joint. Tank full of that white liquor, the stuff they use to break down wood, just straight up exploded. Folks say that stuff burns like hell and messes up yo' lungs. Straight up poison.
They still tryna find two more folks. Prayers up for they families, man. This whole situation messed up.
They ain't dropped the names of the dead yet, but word on the street is, two brothers, Tyler and Brad Covington, was working there. Same with Gilbert Bernal, a pops and electrician. Heard he was a good dude, always looking out. John Forsberg too, trivia head. Whole lotta people's lives gone, just like that.
And CJ Doran, young blood, 26. They say he was the backbone for his fam, keeping it together. Now what they gonna do?
This just shows you how these big corporations don't give a damn 'bout the workers. Just profit, profit, profit. Cut corners on safety, then act surprised when something like this happens. Nah, man, we see you. We ain't dumb.
That white liquor ain't no joke either. That mess burns yo' skin and messes with yo' breathing. Folks risking they lives every day just to make a check. For what? So the man can get richer? It's a shame, man. A damn shame.
They gonna investigate, yeah right. Bet you anything they find some way to blame the workers, or some small thing. Never the company's fault, right? That's how it always goes. We seen this movie before.
National Guard out there helping clean up. Good on them. But real talk, they should be making sure them corporations pay up. Pay for the damage they done, pay for the families that lost loved ones. Put some respect on these people's names. Straight up.
We need to hold these corporations accountable. Stop letting them get away with treating workers like they disposable. Ain't no amount of money can bring them folks back, but at least show some remorse. Show some damn respect. This ain't just about a paper mill, this about the lives of real people. People that were trying to make a living and provide for they families. Now they gone.
Real talk: we gotta demand better. Better safety, better pay, better treatment. We can't keep letting these corporations walk all over us. This is a wake-up call. Time to stand up and fight for what's right. For the fallen, for the living, for the future. No cap.
