Nickel Game in Indonesia: They Gettin' Paid, We Gettin' Played?
Global demand for them electric cars got folks outchea diggin' up the earth, but who really benefitin' from all this?

Aight, so check it. They talkin' 'bout Indonesia, right? Nickel minin' goin' on, 'cause everybody and they mama wanna be ridin' around in them Teslas. But what's the real deal? Who's makin' money, and who's gettin' the shaft?
NPR hit the streets in six spots, and what they find? Jobs, yeah, but also mad pollution and folks gettin' sick. Same old story, different continent. Big corporations comin' in, tearin' up the land, and leavin' the leftovers for the locals.
They talkin' 'bout jobs, but them jobs ain't payin' livable wages. Folks losin' they land, can't fish, can't farm. Just another example of how the system workin' against the little guy.
And don't even get me started on the environmental mess. Water contaminated, forests gone. They sayin' it's for the good of the planet, but who planet they talkin' 'bout? 'Cause it ain't lookin' too good for the folks livin' in Indonesia.
This ain't about savin' the world. This about makin' money. These corporations don't care about nothin' but the bottom line. They'll tear up the whole planet if they can make a buck off it.
The government ain't doin' nothin' either. Probably got they hands in the cookie jar. They lettin' these companies run wild, with no respect for the people or the land.
So next time you see somebody rollin' up in a fancy electric car, remember where that nickel came from. Remember the folks who payin' the price for that clean energy. Remember that the system is rigged, and we gotta fight back.
We gotta demand better. We gotta demand justice. We gotta demand that these corporations be held accountable for they actions.
Keep it 100. This ain't a game. This is real life.
