This RCN survey, wit' over 13,000 nurses chimin' in, say 64% of 'em feelin' like they ain't got enough nurses on their shift to keep folks safe. That's over half, y'all! And 22% of 'em straight up sayin' they way understaffed, leadin' to compromised care and folks at risk. We talkin' elderly patients, kids, everybody vulnerable.

Prof Nicola Ranger, head honcho at the RCN, talkin' 'bout mandatory staffin' levels. She sayin' vacancies are a problem, but wit' an aging population and folks needin' more complex care, it's a “deadly mix.” She ain't lyin'. They outchea overworkin' frontline staff.

Then they tellin' us the nurse workforce growin' slow. Meanwhile, the doctors gettin' hired up 51% more. What kinda system favors doctors over nurses when both on the front line? They trippin'.

The Department of Health and Social Care try to gaslight us, sayin' they hired 16,000 more nurses. Okay, cool, but is it enough? Are these nurses gettin' paid enough? Are they treated wit' respect? Nah. It's all smoke and mirrors.

And the hospitals talkin' 'bout cuttin' services 'cause they broke. They ain't got the funds. We been knew. Where the money goin'? Shady practices. This ain't new, it's the same old song and dance. They wanna squeeze every last penny outta the NHS, meanin' less care for the community.

Ciaran Devane from NHS Alliance tryin' to say things gettin' better wit' waitin' times. But how good is waitin' less if they ain't got enough staff to give you proper treatment when you finally get seen? It's a set up!

Bottom line: the system broken. They understaffin', underpayin', and underappreciatin' the folks who workin' hard to keep us alive. We need to hold these politicians accountable. Nurses need to unionize. And the community need to speak up 'fore it's too late.
