NDIS Cuts Gon' Hit the Community Hardest, Fam
Gov't tryna slash disability funding, and folks with Down's, eyesight problems, and mental health issues gonna feel it the worst.

Aight, listen up. The government out here playin' games with the NDIS, the National Disability Insurance Scheme. They sayin' it's costin' too much, so they plannin' on cuttin' that funding. But peep this: these cuts ain't gonna affect everybody the same, ya dig?
The folks who gonna be hit the hardest are people with Down's syndrome, people with visual impairments, and people with psychosocial disabilities. That's real talk. They rely on this money for social activities, for gettin' out the house, for connectin' with their community. Now, that's gettin' snatched away.
They sayin' the NDIS gonna cost $117 billion in ten years if they don't do nothin'. $117 billion! But where that money really goin'? Is it really helpin' folks, or is it goin' into some politician's pocket? You know how they do.
The Office of Impact Analysis (OIA) put out a report sayin' that folks with eyesight problems spend like 34% of their NDIS money on socializin'. That's how they stay connected, man. That's how they feel like they part of somethin'. Now they tryna take that away?
These cuts gonna hit hard, especially with the cost of livin' already sky high. How folks supposed to eat, pay rent, and still try to have a life when the gov't pullin' the rug out from under them? It ain't right.
They claimin' they gotta cut $36.2 billion to get the growth rate down. But who really benefits from these cuts? It ain't the people on the ground, that's for sure. It's always the rich gettin' richer while the rest of us struggle.
The government sayin' they just cuttin' the money for social activities 'cause it ain't 'bout health and safety. But bein' able to go out, to see your friends, to feel like you belong – that's health, too, man! That's mental health! They tryna act like that ain't important, but it is.
Don't let them fool you. This ain't about savin' money. This about takin' from the have-nots and givin' to the haves. We gotta stand up and fight for our community. We gotta let them know that we ain't gonna stand for this. Real talk!
At the end of the day, these cuts gonna create more problems than they solve. More isolation, more stress, more struggle for folks who already dealin' with enough. It's time for the government to stop playin' games and start puttin' the community first. Keep it 100!
