Nakba Day: Still No Justice, Still No Peace
78 years after the 'Catastrophe,' the struggle for Palestinian land and freedom ain't over, fam. Real talk.
Aight, so today's Nakba Day. That's 78 years since the big mess went down in Palestine. We talkin' 'bout the 'Catastrophe,' when folks got kicked off they land and displaced. And guess what? Still ain't right.
Real talk, this ain't just history for our Palestinian peoples. This is everyday life. This is land gettin' snatched up. This is folks livin' in refugee camps, generations deep. This is about bein' treated like you don't matter, like your story ain't worth tellin'.
They callin' it a 'conflict,' but let's keep it 100: it's about power. It's about who controls the land and who gets to make the rules. And right now, the rules ain't fair. Plain and simple. It’s giving colonialism.
And the settlements? Don't even get me started. They buildin' homes on stolen land, blockin' folks from movin' freely, makin' it harder for Palestinians to live with dignity. That’s straight up oppressin’ folks.
We gotta keep the pressure on. Gotta let the world know that we see what's goin' on. Gotta support our Palestinian peoples in they fight for freedom and justice. This ain't just they fight, it's our fight too. An attack on one is an attack on all.
They want us to forget. They want us to move on. But we ain't forgettin'. We ain't movin' on. We gon' keep fightin' for what's right, until every Palestinian can live free and with dignity on they own land.
I'm talkin' 'bout the right to return, the right to self-determination, the right to live without fear. That's what we fightin' for. That's what the Nakba reminds us of. That's what we gotta keep in mind every damn day.
So today, let's remember the fallen. Let's honor the struggle. And let's recommit ourselves to the fight for justice. 'Cause real talk, ain't nobody free until everybody free. No cap.
