Nah, Frfr? Food Prices Jumpin' 'Cause of That Iran Sh*t?
Man, these prices already high af, now they taxin' us on salmon 'cause of some war overseas? This ain't right.
Aight, so peep this. They sayin' food prices goin' up AGAIN. And guess why? 'Cause of that whole situation with Iran. See, diesel prices wildin' out, so these food companies tryna pass that cost onto us, the regular folk. That means yo' salmon, yo' fruit, all that healthy sh*t 'bout to cost even MORE.
We already struggling out here, ya feel me? Rent high, bills pilin' up, and now they messin' with our food? They expect us to just sit here and take it? Nah, that ain't how it works. This ain't no game.
The man always finds a way to get over on us. First, they startin' wars for oil, then they gettin' paid off of that sh*t while prices skyrocket, and now they sayin' the consequences is on us. How they gon' keep doin' us like this? We gotta wake up, man, frfr.
They be talkin' 'bout "supply chains" and "geopolitical tensions." All I hear is more excuses for why we gotta pay more for less. They don't give a damn about us out here grindin' tryna make ends meet. It's all about the bottom line for these corporations.
We need some real solutions. Like, where the jobs at? Why ain't we investin' in our communities instead of sendin' money overseas? They taxing us hard out here. And who's benefiting? They living nice while we stressin'.
Look, I ain't sayin' I got all the answers. But I know somethin' ain't right. We work hard, we pay our taxes, and we still can't afford to put healthy food on the table. That ain't the American dream, that's the American nightmare.
So next time you at the grocery store, remember this. Remember that these prices ain't just happenin' by accident. They the result of a system that's designed to keep us down. And the only way we gon' change that is by standin' up and speakin' out. We gotta make some noise before we fade away completely. Can't be afraid to stand tall and call out the cap, or else we'll be stuck forever. Real talk.
It's bigger than just food prices, it's about power. Who got it, and who don't. And right now, we ain't got enough. But we can change that. One voice at a time.
