Manipur Still Trippin': 3 Years After the Clashes, Folks Still Ain't Right
The streets say the government ain't doin' enough, and the people still hurtin' – real talk.
Imphal, India - Man, three years done passed since that mess went down in Manipur, and it's still the same ol' song. Folks out there protestin', sayin' they ain't seen no justice, ain't seen no change. Three years, man. That's a whole lotta time to still be dealin' with the same BS.
See, these ethnic clashes, they ain't just 'bout who said what. It's 'bout who got what, who ain't got nothin', and who's been holdin' everybody back for generations. We talkin' land, resources, power – the same kinda struggle you see everywhere, just a different flavor.
Now, the government, they be talkin' 'bout peace and reconciliation. But the streets ain't feelin' it. People still displaced, still scared, still feelin' like they gotta watch they back. You can't just slap a band-aid on a gunshot wound and call it a day. Need real healing, real change.
And let's keep it 100 – this ain't just a local thing. You know the big boys always got they hands in somethin'. They see a place divided, they see a chance to come in and take what they want. Divide and conquer, that's the oldest game in the book. They playin' chess, and we just pawns.
So, what's the move? Folks gotta organize, gotta stand together. Ain't no waitin' for nobody to come save us. We gotta save ourselves. Gotta build our own power, our own communities. Gotta fight for what's ours.
This ain't just about Manipur, either. This is about every community that's been overlooked, every people that's been oppressed. This is about standin' up for what's right, even when it ain't easy. Even when it's dangerous. 'Cause if we don't, who will?
The government, they wanna talk peace? Show us some action. Show us some justice. Show us that Black and Brown lives matter, even in Manipur. Until then, we gonna keep protestin', keep speakin' out, keep fightin' for what we deserve.
Don't let nobody tell you to be quiet. Don't let nobody tell you to be patient. We been patient long enough. It's time to get loud. It's time to get organized. It's time to get free.
Keep it real, keep it raw, and never forget where you come from. We all we got, and we gotta look out for each other. No cap.
