Aight, so check it. This dude, 45 years old, straight buggin' out on top of the Douglass Bridge in DC right now. Said he ain't playin' wit' no war with Iran. Word.

I mean, look, everybody 'round here seen this movie before. Iraq, Afghanistan...same script, different cast. They gon' say it's 'bout freedom, democracy, blah blah blah. But we know it's 'bout oil, power, and keepin' them pockets fat. Fo' real.

This man up there feelin' the heat. He seein' how they be playin' us. Gas prices already sky high, and they wanna start some more foolishness overseas? Nah, son. That ain't the move. Our neighborhoods need that money, not bombs droppin' on innocent folks halfway 'cross the world. That's facts.

And Al Jazeera? They be on the ground, seein' what's really goin' on. Mainstream media? They just be regurgitatin' whatever the government tell 'em. Gotta get the real news from somebody who actually care about the people, ya dig?

This bridge...that's our bridge, connects us. Now it's shut down, ain't nobody goin' nowhere 'cause one man fed up. That's how you know the system broken. When people gotta risk they life just to get they voice heard.

Some folks gon' say he crazy, holdin' up traffic. Say he need to get a job. But what job gonna pay enough to fix this broken system? What job gonna bring back the people we lost in them other wars? He ain't doin' this for himself, he doin' it for all of us.

Remember when we was protesting in the streets after George Floyd? Same energy. People tired of bein' pushed around, tired of the BS. This ain't 'bout politics, this 'bout survival. This 'bout protectin' our communities from another war that ain't got nothin' to do with us.

I ain't condonin' nothin' illegal, but I understand where he comin' from. Gotta stand for somethin' or you'll fall for anything. And we been fallin' for this same old trick for way too long. They sendin' our youth overseas to die for some rich man's game. And the hood suffers.

Hope this dude stays safe up there. Hope they listen to what he got to say. Hope this wakes some people up. 'Cause we can't keep lettin' them run the world into the ground. Time to stand up, speak up, and fight for what's right. No cap.
