Lil Homie Lost an Eye at Some Woke Protest in LA: That Ain't Right
Young blood watchin' some 'No Kings' joint gets hit, now he blind in one eye. This the kinda stuff they don't tell you 'bout.
Aight, so peep this. This young cat, Tucker Collins, only 18, was out in LA checkin' out some kinda protest, called 'No Kings'. Word on the street is he was just chillin', watchin', you feel me? Next thing you know, some projectile hit him, and now he blind in one eye. Straight up lost his whole eye. That's messed up, man.
'No Kings'? Sounds like some privileged stuff. Like, what kings are they even talkin' 'bout? 'Cause out here, ain't nobody wearin' no crown. We got real problems, like rent due, bills pilin' up, and cops harassin' us for just breathin'. These bougie protests ain't helpin' nobody on the block.
But still, nobody deserve to lose an eye just for watchin'. That's some straight-up violation. You go out there, tryin' to be woke, tryin' to see what's goin' on, and you end up payin' the price? Nah, that ain't how it's supposed to be. This just another reason why I stay my black ass at home. Too much wild sh*t goin' on out here.
They be tellin' us to get involved, to speak up, to fight for what's right. But when we do, they tear gas us, beat us down, and now this. Dude lost an eye. Where the justice at? Where the support for this young blood who just tryin' to understand what's goin' on? They ain't gonna show this on CNN, that's for sure.
This gotta be a lesson for all the youngins out there. Be careful what you get involved in. These streets ain't a game. And these protests ain't always safe. Stay woke, but stay safe. Protect yourself, 'cause ain't nobody else gonna do it for you. The system is designed to keep us down, and they don't care if we get hurt in the process. It's all about the almighty dollar.
And for Tucker, I hope he gets the help he needs. That's a life-changin' injury. He gonna need therapy, maybe a new career path. And he definitely gonna need some money to make it all happen. The city, or whoever responsible, need to step up and compensate him. Anything less is a disrespect.
Real talk, this ain't 'bout politics no more. This 'bout a young man gettin' hurt for no reason. This 'bout the dangers of bein' black, brown, or just plain curious in a world that don't care about us. Keep ya head up, young blood. We see you, we feel you, and we standin' with you. Stay dangerous, stay hustlin', and stay real.
This world ain't built for us, but we gotta keep pushin'. We gotta keep fightin'. But we also gotta keep ourselves safe. This ain't no game. This life or death. This young man is proof of that. Always be aware of ya surroundings. Know the code of the streets. And remember: Family. Loyalty. Respect. No matter what. Peace.
