Last Checkerspot Caterpillar Gone: Another Sign They Don't Give a F*ck About Us
This butterfly dying off ain't gon' change nothin' for the folks in the streets, but it show how they waste money on the wrong stuff.

Aight, so they say the last Sacramento Mountains checkerspot butterfly caterpillar died. The butterfly itself been ghost since 2022. Real talk, ain't nobody I know even heard of this butterfly, but it's another sign of how the system workin'.
They got money to burn on savin' some bougie butterfly, but can't fix the potholes in my neighborhood? Can't get clean water to Flint? Can't keep the schools from closin' down? Nah, they worried 'bout some bug that ain't never done nothin' for nobody.
This whole 'conservation' thing sound good, but who really benefit? It ain't the folks livin' check to check. It ain't the kids growin' up in the hood. It's the rich folks who get to feel good about 'savin' the planet' while they livin' large.
Them captive breeding programs? That's just a fancy way of sayin' they was playin' God, and they still failed. They probably spent more money on that one caterpillar than it would take to feed a whole block for a month. Straight up robbery.
They be talkin' 'bout 'biodiversity' and 'ecosystems' like it's some important sh*t. But the real ecosystem we gotta worry 'bout is the one right here, where we tryin' to survive every day. The ecosystem of poverty, of police brutality, of systemic racism.
They wanna distract us with butterflies while they stealin' our future. They wanna make us feel guilty about not recyclin' while they pollutin' the air and water for profit. Don't fall for the okey-doke.
This ain't about no butterfly, it's about priorities. And their priorities ain't on us. They wanna control the narrative, make us think they care about somethin' other than money and power. But we see through the BS.
So, the butterfly gone. It's a sad story, maybe. But it ain't gonna change nothin' 'til we change the game. 'Til we demand they invest in our communities, 'til we hold them accountable for their actions, 'til we build our own ecosystem of support and empowerment.
Keep ya head up. Stay woke. And don't let them butterfly tears fool you. They ain't shed for us.
