Lafarge Played Both Sides, Now Them Military Fam Gon Get Paid?
French Company Bribed ISIS, Now Fam's Want That Bag: Will the System Actually Do Right By Our Vets?

Aight, so check it. This French cement company, Lafarge, been playin' games, straight up funding ISIS to keep they plant runnin' in Syria. We talkin' millions, fam. Like, enough bread to fund some serious terror. Now, Chief Petty Officer Kenton Stacy, a brotha who caught a bad one in Raqqa thanks to ISIS booby traps, and his fam tryna get they get back. He out here paralyzed, and the kids and wife strugglin'. This ain't right.
Lafarge pled guilty back in '22 to droppin' $17 million on ISIS. SEVENTEEN MILLION! This ain't chump change. And a French court FINALLY convicted 'em this year. They was payin' off terrorists so they could keep makin' that paper. Straight up dirty.
Now, the DOJ sittin' on $800 million they seized from Lafarge. $800 MILLION! And these military families, the folks who actually put they lives on the line, tryna get a piece of that pie. They lawyer, Todd Toral, a Marine himself, fightin' for 'em, tryna get that money where it belongs.
But real talk, will the system actually do right by these families? Or is this just gonna be another case of the rich and powerful gettin' away with murder while the folks on the ground keep sufferin'? We seen this movie before.
Lindsey Stacy, Kenton's wife, out here grindin', takin' care of her man, her kids, includin' one with cerebral palsy. She said it's overwhelming. You know how much that 24/7 care costs and the mental toll it takes on a person? These corporations don’t care about the struggle.
This ain't just about the money, tho. It's about respect. It's about holdin' these companies accountable for they actions. You can’t funnel money to folks doing dirt and then think you just gon' slide. Nah, that ain't how it works. You gotta pay the piper.
But let's keep it a buck. The DOJ been holdin' onto this money since October '22. What they waitin' for? Probably findin' some kinda loophole to keep it for themselves. That's how the game goes. They got it locked in the system, waiting for it to get snatched.
We need to apply pressure. Tell the DOJ to cut the check and get that money to these families ASAP. They earned it. They deserve it. Stop playin' games with people lives.
Lafarge out here tryna say it was a “legacy matter.” Legacy Matter?! You was funding terrorists, bruh! Don't try to act like it's some small infraction. That’s some BS!
Real talk, these families need that money to get back on they feet. They been through enough. It's time to pay up and show some respect. No cap. It’s time to do what’s right. For real.
