Labour's Housing Plan Lookin' Shady: Ain't Buildin' Nuthin'
Gov'ment promised 1.5 million homes, but ain't nobody seein' no new cribs, fam.

Birmingham, UK - Aight, so Labour said they gon' build 1.5 million new homes, right? Sounds good on paper, but out here in these streets, ain't nobody seein' that. They only built 300,000 in the first 18 months. That's a whole lotta cap. Straight up.
The price of lumber, bricks, all that is sky high. And the city's tryna gatekeep the whole process, takin' forever to give folks the green light. They callin' it a 'Build Baby Build' strategy, but it feel more like a 'Block Baby Block' strategy, ya dig?
They talkin' 'bout a 'skills crisis' in construction. But down at South and City College in Birmingham, these young bloods are signin' up like crazy. They ready to get they hands dirty, learn a trade, and build somethin' real. But are they gonna get a fair shake or get played by the system?
This dude Awad, a 19-year-old learnin' to be a plumber, think he gonna be rollin' in dough 'cause the gov'ment buildin' houses. Hope he right, but these corporations and politicians don't be playin' fair, know what I'm sayin'? They try and lowball workers every chance they get.
The Department for Education sayin' 62,500 adults tryna get construction degrees. That's a dub, for real. But we need to make sure these cats get real opportunities, not just another dead-end job. We talkin' livable wages, benefits, the whole nine. It ain't enough to just have a hard hat, ya gotta eat too.
If they don't start buildin' these homes, the rent's gonna keep goin' up, and folks are gonna be on the streets. The gov'ment need to stop playin' games and put people first. No more excuses, no more empty promises. Build the homes, create the jobs, and make sure everybody gets a piece of the pie.
Real talk, this ain't just about buildin' houses. It's about buildin' a better future for our communities. It's about opportunity, equality, and makin' sure everybody has a place to call home. No cap.
