LA28 Olympics: $28 Tix For Who?! Real Talk On That Olympic Hustle
They sayin' they got affordable tix, but is it really for the people or just another money grab?

Aight, so these LA28 Olympic cats droppin' news that tix goin' on sale April 9th. Sayin' they got a million tix for $28. A presale for the homies in LA and OKC gon' start April 2. Word? But hold up, before you get too hype...
They also sayin' 5% of the tix gon' cost over a G. A THOUSAND DOLLARS?! Who they think they foolin'? This ain't for the regular folk. This for the rich and famous, the folks who already got everything. Most folks in the hood can't even afford rent, let alone a thousand-dollar Olympic ticket.
This lady, Allison Katz-Mayfield from LA28, tryin' to gas us up sayin' the prices is 'comparable to and in many cases well under what we see for other professional sporting and major entertainment events in the US.' But that don't mean nothin'! Everything overpriced these days! Gas, groceries, rent – they all tryna bleed us dry.
And peep this: they talkin' 'bout a 'verified multi-platform resale program' launchin' in 2027. AXS, Eventim, Ticketmaster, Sports Illustrated Tickets – all in on the hustle. So basically, they setting up the scalpers to make even MORE money off these tix. It's a rigged game, man. They gettin' paid comin' and goin'.
Reynold Hoover, the CEO, sayin' it's for 'multiple points of access to verified tickets.' Nah, fam. It's multiple points for THEM to make money. Don't get it twisted. And they warnin' 'bout unauthorized sellers, like they tryna protect us. Nah, they protectin' THEIR bag.
This whole Olympics thing, it's supposed to be about bringing the world together, but it always ends up being about money. They building stadiums, kickin' folks outta their homes, and gettin' rich off the whole thing. Meanwhile, the people who live here ain't seein' none of that bread.
They talkin' 'bout how the Olympics gonna 'boost the economy' and 'create jobs.' But who gettin' those jobs? Ain't nobody from the hood buildin' those stadiums. They bringin' in out-of-state workers, payin' 'em peanuts, and then leavin' us with the bill.
It's the same old story, man. Promises, promises. They tellin' us what we wanna hear, but they ain't really for us. They for themselves, for their pockets. Gotta stay woke, y'all. Don't fall for the okey-doke.
The only way we gonna see any real benefit from this Olympic sh*t is if we organize, demand our piece of the pie, and make sure they puttin' money back into our communities. Stop playin' us like we fools. We deserve better than this. Know what I'm sayin'? Keep it 100.
