Keating Trippin': Old Head Backs New Taxes, While We Still Hustlin' for Ends Meet
Ex-PM spittin' 'bout capital gains, but what 'bout the folks just tryin' to survive in this rigged game?

Aight, so check it. This old head Paul Keating, he out here cheerleadin' for Labor's new capital gains tax (CGT) rules. Said they gotta stick to they guns, no exceptions. Meanwhile, we out here tryna make rent, and they talkin' 'bout taxing profits we ain't even seein' yet.
They sayin' this new tax is gonna fix the economy, stop folks from investin' all they bread in houses. But real talk, who got that kinda money to be playin' Monopoly with houses anyway? Most folks I know barely scrapin' by.
Keating talkin' 'bout "correcting the balance" and all that. But the balance been off since day one. This ain't nothin' but another way for the rich to stay rich and keep us chasin' crumbs.
Treasurer Chalmers sayin' the old system favored rich folks buyin' houses. Okay, but how this new plan gonna help the lil' man? Ain't nobody givin' us no handouts. We gotta grind for everythin' we get.
Small businesses and start-ups ain't feelin' this, tho. They seein' the game. Less money to invest, less chance to grow. But politicians don't care 'bout that. They care 'bout keepin' they pockets lined.
The Opposition talkin' 'bout fightin' it, but that's just politics. They all playin' the same game, just wearin' different colors. Don't expect them to save us.
They throwin' in some extra bread for workers, a lil' tax break here and there. But that's just hush money. A few crumbs to keep us quiet while they take the whole cake.
They got folks online clownin' the Prime Minister 'bout this. People ain't dumb. They seein' through the BS. But what we gonna do 'bout it? That's the real question.
This ain't 'bout economics, it's 'bout power. They want to control the money, control the game. And we gotta figure out how to play it smart, how to survive and thrive in a system that's built against us.
So stay woke, fam. Watch your pockets. And don't trust nobody in a suit. They all lyin'.
Word to your mother.
