KBJ Spittin' Facts: Supreme Court Lookin' Shady AF!
Justice Jackson callin' out the Supremes for playin' politics, 'cause this ain't how the game supposed to go.

Aight, check it. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, KBJ, done stepped up and said what needed to be said. This ain't 'bout left or right, this 'bout the Supreme Court lookin' real suspect lately. She ain't holdin' back, tellin' folks the Court ain't 'posed to be playin' these political games.
She was at some conference in DC, talkin' 'bout how the Supremes been movin' lately. And nah, it ain't lookin' good. After that whole situation wit' the Voting Rights Act, where she was the only one who dissented, she had to let folks know what time it is.
KBJ said, straight up, “Courts are apolitical, not supposed to be issuing rulings that are in the political realm.” Word. But lately, it feel like they makin' moves based on who in office, not what the law say. That ain't right, and the people see it.
Remember when they overturned Roe v. Wade? That hit different for a lot of folks, especially Black women. Now she talkin' 'bout the Voting Rights Act, that's straight-up voter suppression. They tryin' to take us back to the Jim Crow era, but KBJ ain't havin' it.
And don't even get me started on how they protectin' Trump. Man been caught doin' all kinda dirt, and they givin' him a pass? That's some straight-up privilege, and the community ain't blind to it.
In her dissent, KBJ said the Court's “principles give way to power” and that it “spawned chaos.” She ain't lyin'. They makin' it harder for folks to vote, harder for women to control their bodies, and harder to hold the powerful accountable. That's some bull.
She said, “Public confidence is really all the judiciary has.” Facts. If the people don't trust the courts, then the whole system fall apart. And right now, trust is low. Real low. They gotta start actin' right, or it's gonna be a problem.
It ain't easy bein' the only one speakin' truth to power, but KBJ doin' it. She showin' the youngstas that you gotta stand up for what's right, even when it's hard. Gotta give her respect for that.
This ain't just 'bout politics, it's 'bout justice. It's 'bout makin' sure everybody get a fair shot, no matter who they are or where they come from. And right now, the Supreme Court ain't lookin' like they on that mission. But KBJ on it, and she ain't backin' down.
